Waterproof flooring WPC: Ultimate peace of mind

Yes, Las Vegas lies in a desert, so it might not rain often, but, boy, when it does, it’s a doozy! It’s not uncommon for a heavy storm to bring waist-high water levels, flash floods, and we bet a lot of you remember that famous 100-year deluge back in the late 90’s when it dumped billions of gallons of water in just a few hours.Of course, there are also pipes that break, as well as overflowing appliances.
Why take chances?
If you’re getting luxury vinyl flooring (LVF), get the most recent version with a WPC core that has waterproof superpowers. Simplifying the confusion all LVF is waterproof, but this version comes from the latest technology.
WPC (Wood Plastic Composite) makes the flooring thicker and stronger than traditional vinyl. It’s not only waterproof, but also moisture resistant. Here’s why you want it:
1.Style galore. This is really LVF with the same visual appeal, the same mimicry of wood, tile or stone with all of the colors, patterns, and designs. What’s different is the traditional core is replaced with an ultra-powerful WPC core. Because it’s thicker, the flooring is more sound-absorbent.
2.Resistant to dampness. Although Las Vegas seldom gets humid, you can produce plenty of it inside the home, all by yourself. In fact, all you have to do is boil water, take a steamy shower, or hand wash a blouse and hang it to dry in the bathroom. Any little bit of water can create some dampness, not to mention if you use dehumidifiers. If you’re damp, mold can begin growing in as little as 12 hours and you might start to cough, wheeze and have some itchy, watery eyes. The waterproof core resists wet, so it stays dry.
3.Easy to install. In fact, it can be a great DIY project if you’re handy. This material is a floating installation which means it can go over most sub-floors. Then the pieces click and locks together like a puzzle.
